Anti-terrorism equipment at sasakyan, ibinigay ng US sa PNP

Nagbigay ang US Embassy ng ilang kagamitan sa Philippine National Police (PNP) upang malabanan ang terorismo at matiyak ang seguridad ng bansa.

Sa pamamagitan ng Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Anti-Terrorism Assistance (DS/T/ATA), nakatanggap ng 18 sets ng Cellebrite at 57 units ng laptop computers ang PNP Anti-Cyber Crime Group (ACG).

Habang 4 units ng Ford Ranger, six units ng Bomb Suit, 5 units ng Logo Scanner at Veterinary Equipment/Aircon/ Clinic Renovation ang naibigay sa Explosive Ordnance Disposal K9 Group (EOD/K9).

Samantala, 1 unit ng Ford Ranger, 6 units ng Harris Radio, Tactical Medicine Kits, Crisis Response Team Equipment, Advance Crisis Response Team Equipment at First Response to Medical Stabilization Kit ang natanggap ng Special Action Force.

Pinasalamatan ni PNP chief Police General Guillermo Eleazar ang US sa suporta sa PNP lalo’t makatutulong ang mga kagamitan sa kanilang counter-terrorism capabilities.
