“We have been monitoring the ship through different sources it departed Shenzhen 13, April it to our EEZ on the 22nd in the northern islands it pass through Itbayat within the territorial sea but it,” ayon kay spokesperson, WPS, PN, Commodore Roy Vincent Trinidad.

“This are civilian research vessels but we expect them that in times of crisis they will come under Chinese military commission,” dagdag pa nito.

“The ship lowering un-identified equipment probably for scientific research or studies were still trying to identify the particular type of equipment that was monitored,” ani Trinidad.

“We were enclose coordination with the Philippine Coast Guard to be able to send a ship to respond naval forces west attempted to send one but the ship had to turn back because of the unfavorable sea conditions,” pahayag pa nito.

“The three vessels in Ayungin Shoal were not doing anything,” aniya.

“The three Chinese research vessels in Ayungin Shoal and the one in the east coast I view it as an BK it is way of showing that they are not deterred, they are not scared of what is happening in the West Philippine Sea sinabay nila sa paggawa natin ng BK.”

“I mentioned that because of the presence of foreign warships so we have seen a slight change in their behavior because of the multilateral maritime exercise.”

“A long that line expect more multilateral activities in the future.”

Sa ngayon patuloy pang nakikipag-ugnayan ang Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) sa ibat-ibang ahensiya ng pamahalaan kaugnay sa pangyayari.

“We continue to coordinate with the relevant agencies to address the unauthorized presence and investigate any illegal activities within our EEZ and ensuring the protection and security of our waters.”

“The AFP remains vigilant monitoring any unauthorized research vessel in our maritime domain we have already task nearby vessel for enhanced surveillance and reporting,” saad pa ni Trinidad.
