Clark airport, nag-remit ng P130M sa pamahalaan vs COVID-19

Nag-remit ng mahigit P130 million ang The Clark International Airport Corporation (CIAC) sa Bureau of Treasury.

Ito’y bahagi ng pagtulong sa aksyon ng gobyerno sa paglaban sa kumakalat at nakamamatay na .

Ayon kay Joshua Bingcang, CIAC officer-in-charge, ang nalikom na pera ng naturang airport ay naremit sa Bureau of Treasury noong Huwebes, April 2.

“This is CIAC’s response to the call of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade who directed DOTr-attached agencies to advance dividends to the Department of Finance to support government’s spending measures to contain the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the implementation of RA 11469, or the Bayanihan to Heal as One Act,” saad pa ni Bingcang.

Matatandaan na niong nakaraang linggo, 3 pang attached agencies ng DOTr ang nagremit sa pamahalaan ng nasa kabuong mahigit P10 billion.

Early last week, three other agencies attached to DOTr remitted over P10 billion in dividends to the National Treasury.

Ang mga ito ay ang Philippine Ports Authority, Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines, at Manila International Airport Authority.
