Pag-walkout ng mga heneral sa command conference, ‘fake news’ – AFP

Tinawag ng Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) na ‘fake news’ ang kumakalat na impormasyon patungkol sa mga heneral na umano’y nag-walkout sa ginanap na command conference kamakailan.

Ayon kay AFP Spokesperson Col. Francel Margareth Padilla, “Yung walk out incident if your referring to the command conference thats fake news. I was there, personally there’s nothing of that sort that was happened.”

Ito ang inihayag ni Padilla kaugnay sa kumakalat na impormasyon na mayroon umanong mga general ng AFP na nag-walkout sa ginanap na command conference sa general headquarters ng Camp Aguinaldo Sa Quezon City noong July 4, 2024.

Ang tinutukoy na command conference ni Padilla ay dinaluhan ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.

Dito’y tinalakay ang updates sa mga kampanya at programa ng Hukbong Sandatahan ng Pilipinas

Nilinaw ni Padilla na walang nangyaring walkout sa hanay ng mga general at naging maayos at propesyonal umano ang naturang command conference.

 “It was very professional change of ideas and discussion ang there was also a lot of updates that was given its all possitive ended a possitive way,” ani Padilla.

Para naman kay Rear Admiral Roy Vincent Trinidad, tagapagsalita ng Philippine Navy for the West Philippine Sea, gawa-gawa lang daw ang naturang isyu,  “that is 50% fabrication, 50% imagination, 100% false. The AFP senior officers and the entire organization for that matter conducts itself with the highest level of professionalism.”

Ang isyu ng umano’y pag-walkout ng ilang generals sa command conference ay pinaburan naman ng ilang dating opisyal at isa na nga rito ang dating presidential consultant sa panahon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na si Jose Alejandrino

Nakarating din aniya sa kanya ang nasabing impormasyon.

Sabi niya, hindi na rin natutuwa ang ilang junior officers sa kasalukuyang gobyerno at kailangan na aniyang magising ang AFP.

Aniya, “l am told a large number of junior officers are also not happy with the government. Kudos to the generals and junior officers! Gen. Brawner, you’d better wake up. Think of your country before your own self. The writing is on the wall. Seven generals walked out. I hope Gibo was listening. My advice to him is “Don’t politicize the AFP.”

Ayon naman kay Army Ret. BGen. Johhny Macanas, kung ito man ay totoo, isa umano itong magandang pangyayari dahil kahit papaano ay mayroon nang tumatayo sa tama, “Ito yung ano hindi nababayaran. Ito yung tunay na PMAyer courage! loyalty, integrity itong heneral na ito handang ma-relieve.”

Kaugnay nito’y nanindigan ang AFP na buo ang kanilang chain of command.

Sabi ni Trinidad, “The chain of command is intact we have very good robust relationship with higher headquarters specially the department of national defense.”

“Again, the AFP is a professional organization. We conduct our self with a higher professionalism the chain of command is intact.”

Payo pa ng AFP sa publiko na maging maingat sa pagkuha ng mga kwento at suriin ang katotohanan lalo ang pinagmulan nito.
