Pruweba na walang korupsiyon sa DOH, naisumite na kay Sen. Pacquiao

Nakapagsumite na ng report ang Department of Health (DOH) sa tanggapan ni Senador Manny Pacquiao matapos nitong pagdudahan ang kagawaran sa mga isyu ng korupsiyon ngayong may pandemya.

Kasunod ito sa pangtangap ng senador sa hamon ni Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na pangalanan ang mga ahensya na kurap sa kasalukuyang administrasyon kung saan si Health Secretary Francisco Duque agad ang unang binanatan.

Babala ni Pacquiao kay Secretary Duque, ilalabas nito ang maling paggamit ng pondo sa nasabing ahensya sa kabila ng pandemya.

Kumasa naman sa hamon ang DOH at agad na ibinigay ang mga dokumento sa tanggapan ni Pacquiao bilang sagot sa paratang nito.

Ayon kay Usec. Leopoldo Vega ng Department of Health, “I’d like to confirm that the budget utilization for both Bayanihan 1 and 2 has already been submitted to the office of Senator Pacquiao from the Office of Secretary Francisco Duque.”

Ani Vega, naka-detalye doon pati ang pagbili ng gobyerno ng mga test kit.

“The utilization reported that for Bayanihan 1, the DOH was able to utilize 98% of the budget given and for Bayanihan 2, 93% of that was utilized. We also submitted the report to the office of Senator Pacquiao on the procurement through PS-DBM since this is a whole-of-government kind of approach and we had the support of PS-DBM in the procurement of several testing kits, laboratory reagents and of course equipment through PS-DBM.”

Bukod pa diyan, sinabi rin ni Vega na pati ang pagbili ng Personal Protective Equipments (PPE) ay nakadetalye rin sa kanilang report.

“And these include the PPEs, has already been submitted. The report on the vaccine obligation and disbursement has also been submitted to the office of Senator Pacquiao.”

Sa ngayon ay wala pang kumpirmasyon mula sa kampo ni Pacquiao kung natanggap na ba nila ang report ng DOH.

Samantala, ayon naman naman sa isang daing kongresista, may kalilipatan nang partido si Pacquiao sakaling tanggalin man ito sa PDP-Laban.

Ito umano ang partido reporma ni dating House Speaker Bebot Alvarez.

Sinabi ni Rolando “Nonoy” Andaya Jr., Former Camsur Representative ,“That is the chismis we heard and I think it sounds logical kung talagang hihiwalay sila. That’s an established national party, that’s a logical choice. But again that’s all internal squabbling that will lead them nowhere.”
