Publiko, pinag-iingat ng FDA sa lollipop na ibinalot sa condom foil

Pinagiingat ngayon ng Food and Drug Administration (FDA) ang publiko sa pagbili o pagkain ng isang brand ng lollipop na gumagamit ng foil packs ng condom.

Sa abiso ng FDA, sinabi nito na hindi nila aprubado ang paggamit ng kumpanyang MM Lucky Multisales Corporation ng DUREX condom foil para ipambalot sa ‘Dipzy Cornpop’ lollipops.

“With this, the public is hereby advised not to purchase the aforementioned adulterated products which may pose health risk to consumers. Further, the FDA verified that the abovementioned food products are not authorized and the Certificates of Product Registration have not been issued,” pahayag ng FDA.

Mahigpit ring ipinagbabawal ang pagbebenta nito sa merkado.

Binalaan din ng FDA na paparusahan ang mga magbebenta ng mga naturang lollipop.

“All concerned establishments are warned not to distribute violative food products until they have been issued the appropriate authorization, a License to Operate (LTO) for the establishment, and a CPR for the food product,” saad pa ng FDA.

Sa kasalukuyan ay iniimbestigahan na ng ahensya ang isyu.

“The FDA is currently investigating this matter and shall order its Regional Field Offices and the agent of Regulatory Enforcement Units for confiscation and seizure of all the above mentioned violative health products that may be found in the aforesaid establishment and other distribution or retail outlets,” dagdag ng ahensya.
